The 100 × 100mm square pine post is the heavy-duty option when you need more rigidity than the 100×75mm rectangular post can offer. It’s the preferred choice for gate posts, corner posts, and strainer posts — any location in a fence run where extra strength and resistance to lateral forces matters.
Treated to H4 Hazard Class with CCA preservative — rated for direct in-ground contact. H4 treatment protects against fungal decay and subterranean termite attack in soil contact conditions, which is essential for any post going into the ground.

Applications
Gate posts (hinge and latch), corner posts, end posts, strainer posts on longer fence runs, and any application requiring additional lateral strength. The square profile is also ideal where a post will be visible from multiple angles.
Need to Know
A 2400mm post with 600mm footings gives approximately 1800mm above ground. Concrete footings ALWAYS recommended. Sold individually.
