The 100 × 100mm hardwood post is the most heavy-duty timber post in our range. Square profile, hardwood density, and H4 CCA treatment combine to deliver exceptional strength, rigidity, and longevity — whether it’s holding a gate, anchoring a corner, or supporting a long fence run through challenging conditions.
Treated to H4 Hazard Class with CCA preservative — rated for direct in-ground contact. The square 100×100mm profile resists racking and twisting forces far better than rectangular profiles, making it the correct choice wherever the post will be subjected to lateral loads (gates, corners, strainer posts).

Applications
Gate posts (hinge and latch sides), corner and end posts, strainer posts on long or tensioned fence runs, and any application where maximum lateral strength is required. Pairs with both 75×38mm and 100×38mm rails.
