Description
The 75 × 38mm pine rail at 4800mm is the standard bottom rail used in most timber paling fences. Lightweight and easy to handle, it spans two standard 1800mm post centres with room to spare, making it the workhorse of the paling fence rail system. Pair it with a 100×38mm top rail for a solid, correctly proportioned fence frame.
Treated to H3 Hazard Class with CCA preservative — suitable for above-ground outdoor use. H3 treatment protects against fungal decay and insect attack in above-ground applications.

Need to Know
Posts, palings, and fixings are sold separately. One 4800mm rail covers approximately two 1800mm bays (posts at 1800mm centres, allowing for post width). Freshly cut ends should be sealed with end-grain preservative.
