The 100 × 50mm hardwood rail is the thickest-profile rail in our timber range. Where the standard 38mm-thick rails are appropriate for most residential fencing, the 50mm section adds significantly more rigidity and bearing capacity — making it the correct choice for heavy-duty, commercial, or structural fencing applications where loads, spans, or environmental exposure exceed the norm.
Treated to H4 Hazard Class with CCA preservative. At 4800mm in hardwood with a 100×50mm cross section, this is a rail that will hold its line and resist bowing even across wider post spacings or under wind load conditions that would challenge lighter profiles.
