Description
The 100 × 16mm pine paling is the most widely used fencing paling in Australia. It’s the paling that goes up by the thousands on suburban properties every weekend — reliable, cost-effective, and pressure-treated to handle the outdoors for the long haul. If you’re building a standard timber paling fence, this is almost certainly the paling you need.
Manufactured from plantation-grown radiata pine and pressure-impregnated with CCA (Copper Chrome Arsenic) preservative to H3 Hazard Class. H3 is the Australian standard for above-ground outdoor use — CCA H3 treatment is applied for outdoor durability.

How Many Palings Do I Need?
For a standard paling fence, palings are typically fixed with a 16mm gap between each paling. As a rough guide, a standard 2400mm wide bay takes approximately 21 palings at 100mm wide with a 16mm gap. Multiply by the number of fence bays to get your total, and add 10% for cuts and waste.
Need to Know
CCA treated timber has a characteristic green tint that fades to a natural grey-brown over time outdoors. Freshly cut ends should be treated with an end-grain preservative. Sold individually — price shown is per paling. Compatible with standard 75×38mm or 100×38mm CCA H3 pine rails and 100×75mm or 100×100mm CCA H4 pine posts.
Wet sawn. Landscape grade timber.
